The Cambridge ESOL English suite of exams has a wide choice of certificates reflecting the different needs and abilities of people. The certificates cover basic exams for those beginning to learn English through to advanced certificates for those who have attained a high level of fluency. The exams are recognised around the world by thousands of employers, universities and government ministries as proof of ability to use English.
General English exams consist of KET (basic level), PET (intermediate level), FCE (upper-intermediate level, ideal for people who want to use English for work or study purposes), CAE (advanced users, recognised for work or study purposes), CPE (most advanced exam).
The SchoolThe school is located in Bloomsbury, in the heart of London. It is in the same street as University College London and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and is only 30 seconds away from the British Museum. The school is in an elegant historic building (1776) on 5 floors with a garden that backs onto the British Museum. It offers 8 classrooms, a student coffee room, a computer room, a library with books and DVD, a kitchen. The school has the following affiliations or memberships: British Council, English UK, Tandem International LessonsThe programme consists of the standard course in the morning and 5 specific Cambridge Exams classes in the afternoon. These classes look at all the questions in the five papers in the Cambridge suite of exams (FCE, CAE and CPE) in detail giving students the chance to prepare for every possibility. ActivitiesThe school offers an activity programme in which you may participate on a pay as you go basis. If you want to do an activity which is not on the programme, don't hesitate to ask the school to help you organise it!
