Your French A-level is coming up and you are feeling a little nervous. Why not enrol on one of our very successful A-level revision courses! The courses are specifically designed to help students prepare for their examination. The course in Bordeaux takes place in February, the course in Montpellier takes place in February and at Easter and the course in Biarritz takes place at Easter and in the summer.

Biarritz
Located in the South West of France on the Atlantic coast this beautiful and historic town is a Mecca for surfers and holiday makers looking for something different to the French Riviera.

The School

The language school is located about twenty minutes on foot from Biarritz town centre (ten minutes by bike) in a modern and spacious building. It offers fifteen bright air conditioned classrooms as well as a computer and self study room.

Lessons

Your French lessons will take place every morning from Monday to Friday as well as on two afternoons. Each lesson is based on a theme and is broken down into three sections: reading and listening comprehension (using audio or video material), written comprehension and expression (essay planning and writing techniques, developing ideas and arguments in essay, etc) as well as oral expression (debate or class discussion on given themes). You will also revise and work on any grammatical weak points you may have.

Activities

The programme includes three afternoon activities: a guided tour of Biarritz, an initiation to the pelote basque and a surfing lesson.

Accommodation

The course can be booked with or without accommodation. The school offers accommodation in a host family, either in a twin room with full board or in a single room with half board.

Permission to Go Out Unsupervised

Students will only be allowed to go out in the evening if their parents have completed and signed the 'going out permission' form. If so, they will be allowed to go out in Biarritz unaccompanied until 11pm from Monday to Thursday and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
