The School

The school is located in a spacious nineteenth century three-storey building in the heart of the city. It offers fifteen bright air-conditioned classrooms, a computer room and self study room as well as a lovely lounge leading onto a very pretty sheltered garden

Lessons

Your French lessons will take place every morning from Monday to Friday as well as on two afternoons. Each lesson is based on a theme and is broken down into three sections: reading and listening comprehension (using audio or video material), written comprehension and expression (essay planning and writing techniques, developing ideas and arguments in essay, etc) as well as oral expression (debate or class discussion on given themes). You will also revise and work on any grammatical weak points you may have.

Activities

The programme includes three afternoon activities: a guided tour of Bordeaux, a French movie at the school and bowling.

Accommodation

The course can be booked with or without accommodation. The school offers half board accommodation in a host family.

Permission to Go Out Unsupervised
