Located in the South West of France on the Atlantic coast this beautiful and historic town is a Mecca for surfers and holiday makers looking for something different to the French Riviera.

The School

The language school is located about twenty minutes on foot from Biarritz town centre (ten minutes by bike) in a modern and spacious building. It offers fifteen bright air-conditioned classrooms as well as a computer and self study room.

Lessons

This course combines group lessons in the morning from 9.30am to 12.45 with private lessons in the afternoon. The private lessons focus on any given aspect of the French language that you wish to perfect (phonetics, grammar, written & oral expression). We will ask you to complete a 'fiche de besoin' prior to the start of your course to let us know the topics you wish to cover.

Activities

The school organises two or three sport or cultural activities each week. If you want to do an activity which is not on the programme, don't hesitate to ask the school to help you organise it!

Activities in Biarritz include surfing, canoeing, rafting, golf, horse riding, Basque pelote initiation, mountain boarding, various excursions (Pyrenees mountains, Basque villages and prehistorical caves), tasting of local products (wine, Basque cheese, chocolates, cakes), evening beach picnic, cooking lessons and more.

Accommodation

The course can be booked with or without accommodation. The following types of accommodation are available: host family (half board), apartments in Residence such as le Victoria Surf or La Colline Bleue, studios or hotels. Please ask us for more detailed information.

Programme:	20 group French lessons & 4, 6, 8 or 10 private lessons of 45 minutes per week

Airport Transfer:	Transfer is free for students staying with a host family. For other students: The bus from the airport to Biarritz centre costs 1.20 Eur. A taxi from the airport to Biarritz costs from 9.15 Eur to 12.20 Eur.
