Do you need a French qualification?

The diplomas (DELF & DALF), issued by the Ministère de l'Éducation Nationale, are open to students learning French or anyone interested in receiving official certification of their proficiency in French as a second or foreign language. The level of French of the DALF is high enough to enable students to go on to follow higher education courses and enables them to bypass all linguistic tests for entry to French universities.

Located between Cannes and Monaco, Nice, the capital of the Riviera is a great base to explore the rest of the beautiful Côte d'azur. A relaxed and fun city to hang out and relax.


The School

The school is situated in a beautiful bourgeois building in the very heart of Nice, close to the 'Old Town' and only five minutes walk from the beach. It offers spacious classrooms, a lovely lounge with tables and chairs where students can chat, work or have their lunch.

The school has the following affiliations or memberships:

International House World Organisation, FLE, FFP, CSN

Lessons

The school offers two DELF preparation courses:

  • One for the DELF A1/A2/B1 consisting of 26 lessons per week.
  • The other for the DELF B2/DALF consisting of 22 lessons per week.

The lessons are taught in small groups and in levels of ability.

The DELF A1 will take place on 28th to 30th May and on 10th to 12th December 2008. The DELF A2, DELF B1 and DELF B2 will take place on 26 to 28th March, 28th to 30th May, 25th to 27th June, 23rd to 25th July, 17th to 19th September, 12th to 14th November and 10th to 12th December 2008.

Enrolments dates are usually four weeks before the exams.

Accommodation

The course can be booked with or without accommodation. The following types of accommodation are available: host family (half board), studio or hotel. Please ask us for more detailed information.
