Gréoux-les-Bains
Gréoux is a charming little town located in the heart of Provence about forty kilometres away from Aix en Provence in the 'parc naturel du Verdon'.

The School

The centre is located in a beautiful provencal domaine near Gréoux-les-Bains. The centre offers various junior programmes over the easter and summer holidays in different sections of the domaine. The main sections are the 'Pavillion d'Aurabelle', the 'Adventure Base' and the 'Farmhouse'. All benefit from access to a lovely swimming pool, many sports fields and fantastic surroundings.

Lessons

The French workshops take place every morning. The center has developed its own teaching method based on "la communication des 3P: parole, pratique et plaisir". You will be practising three hours a day, at your own level and in small groups of 6 to 8 students. The learning sessions are creative: role playing games, interviews, radio or video reporting. You will gain confidence which will make you feel like speaking French all the time.

Activities

In Gréoux les Bains (4 days)

You will: explore local villages, tackle the river Verdon by canoe, learn how to rock climb and go tree-swinging, visit a bee keeper, go horse riding, swim in the deep blue waters of the nearby lakes, fly kites and see gliders take off. On a good star gazing night, you will also get to have a great bivouac outdoors.

You will: explore the breathtaking Grand Canyon of Verdon which will teach you lots more about geology, walk, swim, go for a moonlight stroll, visit Moustiers-Ste-Marie, one of France's most beautiful villages, sunbathe at Lake Ste-Croix and perhaps for the first time will be able to go canynoning (under professional guidance at all times of course!)

You will: explore some of the creeks by sea kayak, go snorkelling, roam round the evening markets between Sanary and Bandol or go to sea with a fisherman. On the last day you will return to Greoux for the unforgettable last evening party.

Accommodation

The programme includes full board accommodation at the 'Pavillon d'Aurabelle', in a cosy hostel in La Palud sur Verdon as well as in a hotel near the sailing club in Bandol. Food is delicious! You will enjoy nourishing dishes, varied picnics and tasty snacks.
