Speak French on the Golf course!

How about practicing the French you have learnt in class on the golf course? This is a lovely course combining French lessons with golf lessons. The course takes place in Biarritz from April to October, in Vichy from September to June, in Aix on specific dates and in Papara all year round.

Located in the South West of France on the Atlantic coast this beautiful and historic town is a Mecca for surfers and holiday makers looking for something different to the French Riviera.

The School

The language school is located about twenty minutes on foot from Biarritz town centre (ten minutes by bike) in a modern and spacious building. It offers fifteen bright air-conditioned classrooms as well as a computer and self study room.

Lessons

The French lessons take place from 9.30am to 12.45 Monday to Friday (8.15am on the first morning). They are organised by levels (beginners to advanced) and comprise a maximum of fourteen students. The lessons integrate the four main language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Activities

The golf lessons take place in the afternoons at the Golf of Ilbaritz, a magnificient 9 hole course situated in an exceptional setting between sea and mountain. The lessons are limited to 4 participants per qualified teacher. The programme is personalised and takes into account your ability and objectives. It is aimed at people of all golfing levels

Accommodation

The course can be booked with or without accommodation. The following types of accommodation are available: host family (half board), apartments in Residence such as le Victoria Surf or La Colline Bleue, studios or hotels. Please ask us for more detailed information.

Practical Information

Programme:	20 French lessons of 45 minutes per week & 10 Golfing lessons of 45 minutes per week
Levels:	All (specific dates for beginners)

Group Size:	8 to 14
Duration:	Two weeks (one week on request)
Material/Equipment:	A deposit of 20 Eur is required for the use of books / All golfing equipment is provided
Internet Access:	Yes
Airport Transfer:	Transfer is free for students staying with a host family. For other students: The bus from the airport to Biarritz centre costs 1.20 Eur. A taxi from the airport to Biarritz costs from 9.15 Eur to 12.20 Eur.
