How about practicing the French you have learnt in class on the golf course? This is a lovely course combining French lessons with golf lessons. The course takes place in Biarritz from April to October, in Vichy from September to June, in Aix on specific dates and in Papara all year round.

Almost 20,000km from Paris, French Polynesia is made up of a myriad scattering of islands, of which Tahiti is the largest. Rugged volcanoes, dreamy beaches, ancestral traditions and a fervour for life make for an idyllic escape, a return to nature at the edge of the world. This distant family of 118 islands, divided into 5 archipelagos, has a population of 250,000 and covers an area larger than Europe.
The SchoolThe school in Tahiti was opened in 2005. It welcomes about 50 students each year. Location: The school is situated thirty kilometres from Papeete, the capital of French Polynesia at the school director's home next to the beachside and lagoon. Facilities: The school offers three classrooms, one inside the house and two on the porche. Students: The school welcomes students of all ages from 16 years old to students in their 80ies. The average age is 30. The majority of the students come from America, Switzerland and Germany, the remaining from Australia, New Zealand, Chili and Japan. Bank Holidays: There are no lessons on French national holidays. Missed lessons are rescheduled. The school has the following affiliations or memberships: LessonsThe French lessons take place from 7.30am to 11.30 Monday to Friday. They are organised by levels (beginners to advanced) and comprise a maximum of six students. The lessons integrate the four main language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. First day: Students need to be at the school at 7.30am. Lessons begin mid-morning after a short introduction to the school and a placement test. ActivitiesThe golf lessons take place in the afternoons at the Atimaono International Golf located in Papara. The lessons are aimed at people of all golfing levels. Lessons are on a one to one basis. AccommodationThe course can be booked with or without accommodation. The following types of accommodation are available: host family (room or private apartment), bungalow at the Hiti Moana Lodge or Papara Village or hotel.
