Montreux
Located within the French speaking region of Switzerland, Montreux is the pearl of the Swiss Riviera. Welcoming visitors from throughout the whole world has become a way of life for this charming place, which is home to just over 20,000 inhabitants.

The School

The school is located on the city's main street in one of Switzerland's most famous tourist spots, on the banks of Lake Geneva near the beautiful lakeside promenade. The school offers bright and comfortable classrooms, some of them with a stunning view of the lake and the Alps, a shady terrace, a cafeteria as well as modern equipment and materials.

Lessons

The French lessons take place from 8.30am to 12 Monday to Friday (8am on the first morning). They are organised by levels (beginners to advanced) and comprise a maximum of ten students. The lessons integrate the four main language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Activities

The course includes a day and a half skiing at the ski resort "Portes du Soleil", about 45 minutes drive from Montreux. You will leave the school on Wednesday lunchtime and ski for the whole afternoon till 10pm and all day on the Saturday. The price includes your ski pass and a ski guide.

Other possible activities while in Montreux include mountain climbing, mountain biking, sailing, waterskiing, tennis, kart racing, bowling, paragliding, pleasure trips on the lake in one of the old style paddleboats, wine tasting, ski weekends, fishing, horse riding and many more.
