French Easter Camps

Why not practice your French on a language holiday this Easter. As well as having French lessons every day, you will take part in fun sport and leisure activities.

Antibes is for 14 to 17 years old

Montpellier is a lively university city with year-round sunshine. It has something to offer all tastes including the beautiful and historic old town with trendy shops and open-air cafés, the modern and impressive Antigone area with its Olympic-size swimming pool. The sandy beaches and warm waters of the Mediterranean are also just 8 km away.

The School

The school is located right in the heart of Montpellier no more than ten minutes from Place de la Comédie and the main railway station. It is a lovely centre with fifteen light and spacious classrooms, a cafeteria, a common room with a snack bar, a video room and an internet room.

Lessons

The French lessons take place from 9am to 12.30 Monday to Friday (8.50am on the first morning). They are organised by levels (elementary to advanced). You will be in a group of six to fifteen students of a similar level. The lessons integrate the four main language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Activities

The activity programme includes a town walk, a welcome party, various sports (basketball, table-tennis, football, volleyball, etc), fun workshops, pop quiz, indoor games, video nights, farewell evening, a weekly disco (or karaoke), indoor swimming at the Olympic-size pool and two excursions per week (Sète, Grotte des Demoiselles, Avignon, the Camargue and much more).

Accommodation

This programme may be booked with or without accommodation. The school offers host family accommodation (half board or full board with week day lunches in the centre cafeteria) or residence accommodation (half or full board). Residence accommodation is only for students above 14 and is only available in the Summer.

Permission to Go Out Unsupervised

Students will only be allowed to go out in the evening if their parents have completed and signed the 'going out permission' form. If so, they will be allowed to go out in Montpellier unaccompanied until 11pm from Monday to Thursday and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Students under 14 are not allowed out unsupervised.

Airport Transfer:	Students staying with host families are collected from the station or airport free of charge. Students staying at the residence must book a transfer service: from Montpellier station, 70 Eur return, from Montpellier airport, 95 Eur return, from Nimes airport, 220 Euros return.
