The French for Business course is aimed at professionals who want to improve their general French as well as cover specific business topics. The main objective is to achieve a substantial level of competence when speaking French in work situations.

Situated in the 'Parc Naturel du Verdon', Moustiers is surrounded by beautiful lakes, hills, the 'Gorges du Verdon', a rich flora and fauna, a unique place! If that wasn't enough, Moustiers benefits from 300 days of sun per year!
The SchoolThe school in Moustiers was opened in 1984. It welcomes 20 students for each session. Location: The centre is a renovated monastery located about five minutes away from Moustiers by car, at the top of a hill and far from main roads. The cloister is beautiful, an "oasis of tranquility", overlooking the hills. Facilities: The school offers a number of inside and outside classrooms, a cosy dining room, lounge with a pool table, a T.V room, inner court yards and terraces with enchanting views, a central fountain courtyard and very spacious and pretty bedrooms. Students: The school welcomes students of all ages from 18 years old to students in their 80ies. The average age is 38. The majority of the students come from Germany, Switzerland, UK, Ireland,The Netherlands, Italy, America, China, Canada, Turkey and Thailand. Bank Holidays: Lessons take place on Bank Holidays. The school has the following affiliations or memberships: FLE, Officially recognised as a "centre de formation" by the French ministry of Employment and Solidarity, member of Maison de France, Bildungsurlaub LessonsThis course combines the total immersion course ("A la Carte" or "Intensive") with 4 sessions of 45 minutes of business French each week for one or two participants. The programme is designed to deepen your knowledge of vocabulary used in a business context (including general, social and economic terms) and to teach you how to deal with particular situations, for example when introducing your business or organisation, when giving your opinion and when taking part in a discussion. There are practical opportunities to put what you learn directly into practice, through simulations tailored to your professional circumstances. Choice of study topics : communication in the workplace (written communications, the mail), the company, using the telephone, sales, negotiations, employment, meetings, banking. AccommodationThe programme includes full board accommodation in the monastery in spacious rooms or studios for 2 to 3 people with en-suite bathrooms. Note that there is a limited number of single rooms available. All meals are served around a large table where students and teachers are free to relax and enjoy delicious provencal three course meal. All meals are served with wine. |
