Located on the west coast of France, Bordeaux is not only the wine capital of the world, but also a vibrant center of trade, industry and business.

The School

The school is located in a spacious nineteenth century three-storey building in the heart of the city. It offers fifteen bright air-conditioned classrooms, a computer and self study room as well as a lovely lounge leading onto a very pretty sheltered garden.

Lessons

The lessons take place Monday to Friday from 9.30 to 12.45 and on two afternoons in the week. The programme includes a guided tour of Bordeaux, a meal with your teachers, two half day excursion and a full day excursion on the Saturday.

The aim of the programme is not only to give you innovative ideas and resources but also to put you in the place of your students and discuss your experience. Examples of workshops: France d'aujourd'hui, didactisation de documents authentiques, la nouvelle chanson française, la grammaire est une chanson douce, a vous de cliquer, comme un roman, etc.

Accommodation

The course can be booked with or without accommodation. The following types of accommodation are available: host family (half board), apartments in Residence such as Residence Citea** and Aparthotel Citadines*** or hotels. Please ask us for more detailed information.
