Located in the South West of France on the Atlantic coast this beautiful and historic town is a Mecca for surfers and holiday makers looking for something different to the French Riviera.

The School

The language school is located about twenty minutes on foot from Biarritz town centre (ten minutes by bike) in a modern and spacious building. It offers fifteen bright air-conditioned classrooms as well as a computer and self study room.

Lessons

The French lessons take place from 9.30am to 12.45 Monday to Friday (8.15am on the first morning). They are organised by levels (elementary to advanced) and comprise a maximum of fourteen students. The lessons integrate the four main language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Activities

The activity programme offers an excellent opportunity to get to know the region from a cultural point of view, to appreciate the natural environment, the region?s architecture and gastronomy. These activities will help you to develop your linguistic skills practically whilst enjoying the friendly company of the other participants. Examples of activities: guided tour of characteristic towns and villages, tasting local produce (chocolates, Bayonne ham), visits to museums and chateaux, walking in the Pyrénees, game of traditional pelote Basque, evening in a restaurant specialising in Basque cuisine.

Accommodation

The course can be booked with or without accommodation. The following types of accommodation are available: host family (half board), apartments in Residence such as le Victoria Surf or La Colline Bleue, studios or hotels. Please ask us for more detailed information.
