Montpellier is a lively university city with year-round sunshine. It has something to offer all tastes including the beautiful and historic old town with trendy shops and open-air cafés, the modern and impressive Antigone area with its Olympic-size swimming pool. The sandy beaches and warm waters of the Mediterranean are also just 8 km away.

The School

The school is situated on the first floor of a seventeenth century town house right in the heart of Montpellier, two minutes away from Place de la Comédie. It offers a reception area, six classrooms, a staff-room, a local information centre and a roof-terrace.

Lessons

The French lessons take place from 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday (8.50am on the first morning). They are organised by levels (beginners to advanced) and comprise a maximum of ten students. The lessons integrate the four main language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Activities

The programme includes a selection of cultural and educational activities from a Welcome Apéritif, Town Walk, Half-day excursions (3 per week) to destinations including Sète, Grotte de Clamouse/St Guilhem, Nîmes, the Camargue, Château de Flaugergues, Uzès/Pont du Gard, Arles. A farewell dinner (optional and payable) in a local restaurant is organised on the last evening.

Accommodation

The course includes half board accommodation with a host family.
