Located in the South West of France on the Atlantic coast this beautiful and historic town is a Mecca for surfers and holiday makers looking for something different to the French Riviera.

The School

The language school is located about twenty minutes on foot from Biarritz town centre (ten minutes by bike) in a modern and spacious building. It offers fifteen bright air conditioned classrooms as well as a computer and self study room.

Lessons

Your French lessons will take place every morning from Monday to Friday as well as on two afternoons, Tuesday and Wednesday. In your lessons, you will do some reading and listening comprehensions, practice your written work and take part in class discussions and role plays. Your teacher will also help you identify your strengths and weaknesses so that you can improve further your linguistic abilities.

Activities

The programme includes three afternoon activities: a guided tour of Biarritz, an initiation to the pelote basque and a French movie at the school.

Accommodation

The course can be booked with or without accommodation. The school offers accommodation in a host family, either in a twin room with full board or in a single room with half board.

Students will only be allowed to go out in the evening if their parents have completed and signed the 'going out permission' form. If so, they will be allowed to go out in Biarritz unaccompanied until 11pm from Monday to Thursday and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
