Located in the South West of France on the Atlantic coast this beautiful and historic town is a Mecca for surfers and holiday makers looking for something different to the French Riviera.

The School

The language school is located about twenty minutes on foot from Biarritz town centre (ten minutes by bike) in a modern and spacious building. It offers fifteen bright air-conditioned classrooms as well as a computer and self study room.

Lessons

This course consists of general lessons from 9.30 to 12.45 Monday to Friday and two afternoons from 1.30pm to 3.45pm. The afternoon lessons are based on the discovery of France and the French through communicative and creative skills. The groups for the afternoon course are usually smaller.

Activities

During the summer there is a full and varied activity programme in which you may participate on a pay as you go basis. Throughout the year the school will propose a limited number of activities, subject to student number. If you want to do an activity which is not on the programme, don't hesitate to ask the school to help you organise it!

Activities in Biarritz include surfing, canoeing, rafting, golf, horse riding, Basque pelote initiation , various excursions (Pyrenees mountains, Basque villages and prehistorical caves) and tasting of local products (wine, Basque cheese, chocolates, cakes).

Accommodation

The course can be booked with or without accommodation. The following types of accommodation are available: host family (half board), apartments in Residence such as le Victoria Surf or La Colline Bleue, studios or hotels. Please ask us for more detailed information.
