Newsletter - October 2004
Bonjour and welcome to our October newsletter. Bonne lecture!
In this issue:- Experience Halloween in Nice
- New website section - Brush up your French
- Driving in France - Qui a priorité?
- French 'rappeur' in London - Hasta la Vista!
Having not had much practice at celebrating Halloween over the years, the French have recently embraced this fête with open arms! Perhaps in the past garlic was enough to ward off "vampiric" visitors in the Hexagone but these days it all seems to be a lot more fun.

New website section - Brush up your FrenchIt is very important to us that our customers make the most of their language courses. With this in mind, we have put together a little brush up section on our website. This is aimed at all soon to be students who would like to brush up their existing French. We have a selection of role-plays, all related to your trip in France as well as a little bit of grammar (always useful!). We even have some quizzes. We will be adding a section for beginners soon.

Driving in France - Qui a priorité?Although not always a necessity while on a language course, it is practical at times to have a car in France. Yet, there are rules one must be aware of! Did you know that you are expected to give priority to traffic coming from the right unless there are signs or road markings to the contrary? So next time you are driving along in France, watch out for any cars shooting out in front of you from the right.

Mc Solaar, voted by many the best French ?rappeur? in the world is touring the UK this month. He will be at the London Shepherds Bush Empire on Saturday 2nd October.
Tickets are available from the venues or at Gig and Tours.
We wish you all a lovely month of October.
