Travel by plane

The quickest way to travel abroad is usually by plane. Most of the destinations we offer have a local airport within 30 miles.

• Aerlingus flies to Malaga, Alicante, Barcelona, Tenerife and Rome


• Air France flies to most European cities via Paris.


• Bmibaby flies to Barcelona, Malaga, Lyon, Nice, Toulouse, Verona, Venice and Geneva.


• British Airways flies to Bordeaux, Toulouse, Nice, Lyon, Marseille, Geneva, Rome, Malaga and Barcelona.


• EasyJet flies to Barcelona, Tenerife, Geneva, Milan, Rome, Biarritz, Bordeaux, La Rochelle, Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier and Nice.


• Flybe flies to Bordeaux, Brest, Chambery, Milan, toulouse and La Rochelle.


• Ryanair flies to Barcelona, Brest, Tenerife, Madrid, Biarritz, La Rochelle, Madrid, Malaga, Marseille, Milan, Rome, Seville, Tenerife, Toulon and Venice.

Travel by train

An increasing number of students choose to travel to Europe by train.

• Train from London to Paris takes about 2h20 hours


• Train from London to Vichy takes about 6 hours (2h20 to Paris, change station, 2h30 to Vichy)


• Train from London to Montpellier takes about 7 hours (2h20 to Paris, change station, 3h30 to Montpellier)


• Train from London to Nice takes about 9 hours (2h20 to Paris, change station, 5h30 to Nice)


• Train from London to Lyon takes about 5 hours (2h20 to Paris, change station, 2h to Lyon)
