The School

The school is located in a beautiful 19th Century building on the banks of the Rhone in the centre of Lyon. It offers eight spacious and bright classrooms, each of these with its own fireplace.The school is equipped with wifi service so that you can access your email and surf the web free of charge on your own computer or on one of the school's computer.

Lessons

The French lessons take place from 9am to 12.15 Monday to Friday (8.30am on the first morning). They are organised by levels (beginners to advanced) and comprise a maximum of twelve students. The lessons integrate the four main language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Activities

Every week the school suggests a number of activities 'coached' by the staff. There is also a lot of information available if you wish to organize your leisure activities yourself.

Activities in Lyon include rowing on the Saone, dancing on a barge, French cooking, weekend kayaking in the Gorges du Doux, sailing on the lake in the Parc de la Tête d'Or, visit of the Lyon zoo or Institut Lumière, initiation in micro light aircraft, skateboarding, wine bar evenings and many more.

Accommodation

The course can be booked with or without accommodation. The following types of accommodation are available: Host family, student residence, hostel or hotel. Please ask us for more detailed information.
