Vejer de la Frontera is a beautiful and perfectly preserved village on the Coasta de la Luz. You will be amazed by the whiteness of its streets, the original make up of its houses and above all the pleasant manners of the people.
The SchoolThe school in Vejer was opened in 1992. It welcomes about 500 students each year. Location: The language school is located in an 18th Century mansion, in the middle of historic Vejer. It is a small school with a cosy family atmosphere. Facilities: The school offers fully equipped classrooms, a multimedia room, a library, two patios and a fantastic garden. Students: The school welcomes students of all ages from 17 years old. The average age is 30. Students come from Germany, the UK, Scandinavia, Dutch, the US and Canada, etc. Bank Holidays: There are no lessons on Spanish national holidays. Missed lessons are neither rescheduled nor refunded. The school has the following affiliations or memberships: Instituto Cervantes, IH, CSN LessonsThe Spanish lessons take place from 9 am to 12.15 Monday to Friday. They are organised by levels (beginners to advanced) and comprise a maximum of eight students. The lessons integrate the four main language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. ActivitiesThe programme includes a guided walk through the old town of Vejer, an informal lecture about Spanish traditions and festivals, an informal talk about wine with wine tasting, salsa in the school's garden, cookery classes, excursions to Cadiz and Arcos (weekend), Flamenco, a route of tapas in Vejer. Christmas day is a free day. AccommodationThe course can be booked with or without accommodation. Types of accommodation in Vejer include flat share, host family, private apartment and hotels.
