The SchoolThe school in Vejer was opened in 1992. It welcomes about 500 students each year. Location: The language school is located in an 18th Century mansion, in the middle of historic Vejer. It is a small school with a cosy family atmosphere. Facilities: The school offers fully equipped classrooms, a multimedia room, a library, two patios and a fantastic garden. Students: The school welcomes students of all ages from 17 years old. The average age is 30. Students come from Germany, the UK, Scandinavia, Dutch, the US and Canada, etc. Bank Holidays: There are no lessons on Spanish national holidays. Missed lessons are neither rescheduled nor refunded. The school has the following affiliations or memberships: Instituto Cervantes, IH, CSN LessonsThe Spanish lessons take place from 9 am to 12.50 or 11.10 to 2.50pm Monday to Friday. They are organised by levels (beginners to advanced) and comprise a maximum of eight students (ten in the summer). The lessons integrate the four main language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. ActivitiesThe Flamenco lessons take place in the afternoon Monday to Friday. You can choose to have either dance lessons or guitar lessons. You will also be able to attend the school's weekly lessons of rhythmic clapping (palmas) and flamenco percussion. The school offers an activity programme in which you may participate on a pay as you go basis (some activities are free). If you want to do an activity which is not on the programme, don't hesitate to ask the school to help you organise it! Activities in Vejer include dancing lessons, Spanish movies, visit to a wine cellar, cookery lessons, cultural trips, kite surfing, diving, basketball, flamenco shows and various excursions. AccommodationThe course can be booked with or without accommodation. Types of accommodation in Vejer include flat share, host family, private apartment and hotels. Please ask us for more details. |
