The SchoolThe school in Granada was opened in 1986. It welcomes about 500 students each year. Location: The school is located on a quiet street only ten minutes away from the centre of Granada. It is a charming school with a nice family atmosphere. Facilities: The school offers friendly classrooms, a beautiful patio inside the school and a computer room. Students: The school welcomes students of all ages from 16 years old. The average age is 28. Students come from Germany, the UK, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Poland, the US, Japan, etc. Bank Holidays: There are no lessons on Spanish national holidays. Missed lessons are neither rescheduled nor refunded. The school has the following affiliations or memberships: Instituto Cervantes, Tandem International, A.E.E.A, CSN LessonsThe Spanish lessons take place from 9 am to 12.15 Monday to Friday. They are organised by levels (beginners to advanced) and comprise a maximum of eight students. The lessons integrate the four main language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. ActivitiesThe Flamenco lessons take place in the afternoon. The lessons are taught by a recognized and qualified dance teachers. You will discover the artistic phenomenon of Flamenco in its natural environment. There are classes at all levels, starting with beginners (rumbas) up to the more advanced levels (alegrías, tangos, bulerías, soleá). The school also offers an activity programme in which you may participate on a pay as you go basis. If you want to do an activity which is not on the programme, don't hesitate to ask the school to help you organise it! Activities in Granada include conferences about present day topics of interest, film sessions dedicated to particular Spanish directors, wine tasting and dinners, visit to the Arabic baths, theatre and Flamenco concerts, guided tour of the Alhambra or the Arabic quarter of the Albaicin, trekking in the Sierra Nevada, cooking and various excursions. AccommodationThe course can be booked with or without accommodation. Types of accommodation include host family, flatshare, student residence and hotels. Ask us for more details. |
